The Prince’s Countryside Fund are inviting applications for their Spring round of grant giving. Grants of up to £25,000 are available over two years, for projects that will create a long-term difference in rural communities across the UK. Applicants must be from properly constituted, not for profit organisations with an income of less than £500,000. They particularly welcome applications from groups and organisations with projects in hamlets, villages and small market towns.

Empowering Local Communities Grant is a new grant for local groups aimed at supporting a broad range of activities which contribute towards transforming communities and improving lives.
U18 Better Starts Grant is a new grant for local groups aimed at supporting a broad range of activities for children under the age of 18 which contribute towards transforming communities and improving children’s lives. Applications are accepted throughout the year.

The Social Enterprise Support Fund provides grants of between £10,000 and £100,000 to help social enterprises rebuild from COVID-19. Enterprise must have been incorporated for at least a year and should have a clear plan for growing or returning to substantial trading income following the pandemic. The fund is established in partnership by The National Lottery Community Fund and five social enterprise support agencies.

Funding is available to support research that will benefit the health of vulnerable global populations. Particularly welcome are applications for cross-sector research that combines expertise to meet a global health challenge with a health-focused aim. Proposals of all sizes will be accepted, including large research projects of approximately £1 million and small to medium-scale applications.
