Dr Hudson said: “It was really good to meet with members of Wigton Town Council in the Market Hall. We had a long and productive meeting discussing a variety of issues including healthcare, post-16 transport, businesses; policing, anti-social behaviour, illegal parking in the town and flooding.” The MP has also attended Kirby Stephen Mart to carry out “important discussions” on issues facing the farming and agricultural sector. These include cost-of living, fuel, feed, energy and fertiliser as well as labour issues and a number of other issues facing Cumbrian people. Dr Hudson said that he is set to call for “new Government action” on the rising costs in the farming industry.
