Throughout the course of the week, we are providing a range of sessions to make you feel like you are at our normal conference.
Rural Environment Day Plenary
The plenary session will feature two speakers:
Firstly, Phil Brennan, Head of Apse Energy, (Association for Public Service Excellence) will be talking about local authorities and climate declarations to consider practical ways councils can implement a more energy efficient approach.
Secondly, David Cope, the Countryside Climate Network Coordinator for UK100, the network for ambitious local leaders who want to deliver a transition to clean energy and net zero for their communities. His challenge is to help raise the voice of rural councils alongside urban authorities in the national discussion about climate action.
