The first edition of CJS Focus was published as a Special Edition supplement on 21 February 2005.

After 20 years CJS has decided to retire the format and the February 2025 edition will be the last ever CJS Focus. Making it a very special edition and one you do not want to miss.

Although there are opportunities to advertise for volunteers all year round our specialist publication gives them an extra push and this final edition will be even more widely promoted.

The Focus, in association with The Conservation Volunteers, will contain articles from industry professionals and lots and lots of adverts for anything from long term volunteer opportunities to citizen science projects via workdays, apprenticeships, fieldwork tasks and micro volunteering.
